Diinformasikan kepada seluruh pelamar program Magister DTETI FT UGM, bahwa pelaksanaan self assessment untuk seleksi mahasiswa baru T.A 2021/2022 (Ganjil – gel.2) akan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 12 Juli 2021 secara online (sesuai dengan pilihan slot waktu yang sudah dipilih, bagi yang sudah mendaftar di prodi).Bagi pelamar yang belum mencatatkan diri untuk mengikuti self assessment tersebut silakan melakukan pendaftaran melalui tautan ugm.id/saprodi, paling lambat tanggal 10 Juli 2021.
Adapun untuk persiapan yang perlu dilakukan hanya menyiapkan unit computer/laptop dan koneksi saja, tidak ada spesifikasi tertentu yang dipersyaratkan untuk menunjang kelancaran pelaksanaan assessment tersebut.
Berikut kami sampaikan Jadwal Ujian Akhir Semester(UAS) Periode Genap 2020 Prodi S2 Teknik Elektro dan S2 Teknologi Informasi, UAS dilaksanakan dengan ketentuan sebagai berikut:
Dalam rangka libur hari raya Idul Fitri 1442 H, dan telah diputuskan dalam Rapat Ketua Program Studi dan Rapat Kerja Fakultas bulan Maret 2021, bahwa perkuliahan di lingkungan Fakultas Teknik diliburkan pada tanggal 10-21 Mei 2021. Adapun libur untuk kantor di lingkungan Fakultas Teknik mengikuti Surat Edaran UGM nomor 1243/UN1.P.IV/TURT/KP/2021 tanggal 26 Februari 2021 tentang Perubahan cuti bersama tahun 2021.
Demikian edaran ini dibuat untuk dapat disampaikan ke civitas akademik di lingkunganFakultas Teknik UGM.
“I studied from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Faculty of Engineering for the doctoral degree which was arranged by the ASEAN University Network (AUN/SEED-Net). As an AUN/SEED-Net’s scholar, I had an opportunity for studying under the joint supervision between Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) and Kyushu University, which are the member institutions of AUN/SEED-Net (JICA). While I was studying at UGM, I was convenient with the valuable guidance of UGM’s advisors and professors, and the warm support of classmates and lab members. The department’s staffs always support cordially, every time we need their help. I got much knowledge in both academic matters and Indonesian culture. I can say that this is one of the best places for the students who are willing to study in Indonesia.”
I was awarded the AUN/SEED-Net scholarship under the JICA project in April 2014 at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) for Master’s Degree Program. I respectively decided to apply for the Doctoral Degree program in 2017 at UGM again. The reason that I chose UGM as the host institute for my studying because of the rich of experiences, qualified education system and well-known university in Indonesia. Throughout my education in the field of Computer and Information Engineering at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology brought me to overcome a lot of experience and numerous of knowledge from professional lecturers. I have gained a lot of theoretical and practical background not just only for the subjects assigned by the university, but also researching have been accomplished. I had a great opportunity to publish my research articles including international journals and conference papers. On the other hand, Well-arrangement classes and laboratory, adorable assistance from skillful supervisors, lecturers, academic staffs, and friends from national and international at UGM lead me hit with enormous intention to share knowledge and experience in my future careers.
Moreover, living life in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, as well as UGM was quite amazing with non-academic such as culture, tourist sites, social activities, and academic matters. I would like to express my thankfulness to all related persons who helped and inspired me, having them make my UGM life smooth and remarkable prospects.
“My name is Hay Mar Soe Naing. I graduated from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Faculty of Engineering. Initially, I applied for a Doctoral Degree sandwich program scholarship funded by ASEAN University Network / Southeast Asia Engineering Education Development Network (AUN / SEED-Net), JICA project. This program cooperates with Indonesia and Japan. So, I have the opportunity to study in two countries.
During the three-year academic period at UGM, I gained a lot of things, not just academic knowledge, but also skills and confidence. The teachers, students and academic staffs were very friendly and supportive. In addition, the advisors provided excellent guidance, patience and valuable supports to me throughout my time in doing research. I would like to thank UGM personally because my resume polished under the guidance of UGM is definitely helpful. It has provided me with both knowledge and insight that undoubtedly increased the value of my professional and academic experience.
